Had some time tonight after a round of freebie hunting, so I thought I'd do a quick post. I found some cute glasses at Nerdy girl, free group gift :) They come with a color hud, and two versions, clear lenses and tinted. I also picked up some free tattoos at Isuka. If you join the group you can grab 3 free tatts - they come with appliers and system layers. In honor of October 1st, I am wearing the Halloween monster tatts, colorful and kooky :)
I was sorting through all the shoes in my inventory, separating the Maitreya from the Slinks.... the organizing OCD had kicked in lol. I realized I had quite a few shoes that came with color huds, and while that is great, a girl needs shoes in ALLL the colors, I usually end up only wearing my shoes in a couple of colors; black or red.
So I started playing around with the shoes huds for a while. I decided to challenge myself to create a look using a color that is normally outside my comfort zone, and then I would have to blog it. This did two things for me. One, it gave me something to do, and two, it forced me into doing blog stuff lol - I get quite lazy with the blogging :P
I chose to use yellow for this challenge. It is a color that I really like, but do not wear in RL or SL. In RL, yellow looks very bad against my skin color....so I have just always shied away from wearing it. But in SL, we can change our skin with a simple click , then we can wear w/e color tickles our fancy :D

....PINK always makes me feel better :) This cute hair is just one of many gorgeous things found at this round of Collabor88. I am planning another trip there as I write this :P. Yesterday was Friday, which means it was time for Fifty Linden Friday. I got this lovely Glam Affair skin for FLF. It came with one other skin tone, Jamaica. Often the GA skins get left out for the weekend, so if you hurry on over there, you may be able to still grab it for 50L :D
I did a little bit of shopping and I actually made it to a few events this week. There are so many events it is hard to keep up with them all. That is really OK with me though. I don't have the time or the money to even try and think about getting to them all lol. Wish I did, have both time and money o.O. Anywayyyy.... I found so many fabulous things at every place I went!!! But, .... I had to keep my buying under some sort of control. So here is and outfit I put together with a few of the items I decided on :)
P.S. I did even make it to the Hair Fair! go me! I had planned on a blog post sometime before the fair ended, but yea....didn't happen :P Besides, all the bloggers everywhere blogged it.....my tiny blog was not missed ;)

Pure Poison is one of my fave stores in SL, they have tons of high quality shoes and accessories. The group gifts are also FANTASTIC, and there are a ton of them. Also, group members have access to the group gacha machines, and get one FREE pull on each of them. The new gacha is super cute pair of open toed pumps. I got the cayene color.... a very nice shade of red :) I happen to love red, soooo go me :D Currently, the group is FREE to join - so join up, and get your goodies. But there a couple of other FREE group gift skins there right now :) I love Birdy skins a lot. I find that I wear the old group gift one, Brooke more than my other skins. It has a very unique look, and well.... I just like it :P

I have this weird obsession in SL.......and that is......LBDs! Yes, little black dresses. I have a big folder just for them. When I see a new one, I want it immediately lol. Maybe someday I will do a post on all my favorite ones :P When mesh clothes became available I was sooooo happy, mostly because that meant I could finally buy an LBD without that damn prim flap we had to wear with skirts and dresses. Oh how I hated that prim flap >< Anywayyyy.....when I saw this dress by Valentina E. at uber, I was doomed and had to buy it. sigh.
Also I grabbed the June group gift at Beusy, the cute and punky bob hairstyle ....and it was FREE! love it :)
