A Simple Kind of Dress

I went to check out the freebies at Womenstuff, and when I got home...I unpacked this very simple, yet adorable dress by sf design.  When I put it on.... It just had so many style possibilities.  So I've put together a few looks that this simple dress inspired.  I also picked up a couple of free skins, that are so gorgeous.. and modeled with the dress :)

The Genie is Out of the Bottle!

My very good friend, Lyric wrote about "baggy crotch pants" or "harem pants"....I prefer the term "harem".  You can read her blog here.  Anywhoo, her and I talk about fashion all the damn time, and I too wasn't to keen on the "baggy crotch" look. BUT.... I have found a couple that I actually like and wear.  I probably won't be buying a whole lot of them lol, unless I see some that I just cannot live with out.  The pair I bought at the Spirit Store, in my opinion have a very chic look to them...they can be dressed up classy or done with a more edgier look.  The harem pants from ALB are so unique and have a natural lovely look to them.  These too can be dressed up classy or you can go for a cute boho look. The ALB pants can be bought in variety of colors too.

Totally 80s!

Ok, so here is the story.... I bought this super cute pink mesh sweatshirt by LOULOU & CO.   When I tried it on...I immediately though of the 80s! So, right away I decided to create some 80s inspired looks.  This led to .... hmmm I need to wear some cute pointy toed kitten heals, OHH I have those....the freebie Maitreya pumps I got nearly two years ago when joined SL.  Those shoes were my very first shoes of great quality.  They are still even to this day, a terrific looking shoe.  I know they have been blogged all over hell and back.....but, just in case someone has not stumbled into the Maitreya main store (doh!) and found them...I wanted to give them a little attention. Now, all that said....and I do love them, and they were free, I have one tiny itty bitty complaint....I want a pair in pink!!!
